The line
A sauna heater is a welded steel box that burns wood and holds stone. What separates a good one from a cheap one is the thickness of the plate it is cut from, how the seams are welded, and how much stone it carries — because stone is what keeps the room giving löyly after the third ladle instead of going flat.

About these figures
Every figure on this page is a design target, not a measurement. It is what the stove is being built to, not what we have put on a meter.
We publish a tested number once we have fired the stove and written it down. Until then the target is what we have, and we would rather tell you which one you are reading. Clearances to combustibles are not on this page at all — an installer quotes a job off them, and they belong to a tested appliance.
